Basically, my version of a thestral. It was sort of confusing to try and do what she wrote it - no flesh but with hide on the bones, and the bones showing through. >>;

Couldn't fit the full wing-size in though. :/ Still have to try Buckbeak or Inferi.

Materials: Mechanical pencil.

That's pretty damn horrible. In a good way, I mean. Very intricate grasp of skeletal structure you have there... I like how the skull seems part bird or... something.

Interesting interpretation! I always imagine them as black horses with wings, fangs, red eyes...

ehe... I try not to imagine them at all, seeing as I actually own horses and would never be able to look at them the same way again, though I must say, this is a fantastic interpritation. You seem to have the anatomy of the horse down pat, and the skull looks purpously... pointy. The attention to detail is just... damn scary!

This is amazing! It's exactly how a Thestral should look like! This is so creative, Wyna...wow, this piccu is just so good. Everything look perfect. ^-^ Perfect!

O.O You're gonna draw Buckbeak? I can't wait to see that. ^-^

I've been doodling around trying to come up with a way to draw one of these bad boys myself, plus it's good to see your take on them! Very very nice interpretation!

That looks about how she described them, although the hind legs confuse me a bit (I'm not familiar with the anatomy of esquine creatures, but the upper hind legs look fleshed out as if with muscle? But I could be mistaken.). Otherwise, very gaunt and willowy as I imagined them, and wondrous attention to all the details in shading. :)
